Mangaluru: In a tragic incident, a reporter who went on trekking to Charmadi died after a massive cardiac arrest on Friday, April 8.

The deceased is Haimad Hussein (29).

Haimad was working for Prajavani news daily in Mangaluru over the last two years.

On Friday morning he had been to Charmadi along with about 30 other trekkers when he suffered an attack and breathed his last.

Haimad hails from Raichur and is survived by his parents and one brother.
