Mangalore, Feb 22: The two-day gala event based on sphere of media called ‘Media Manthan’ was concluded at Eric Mathias hall, St Alloysius college, organised by the department of Mass Communication and Media Studies (MCMS).

Theme of the event was ‘Unleash your creativity’ and additional attraction of the event was the Ad fest.

Mangalore South MLA J R Lobo was the chief guest of valedictory function. Head of the department Vishal Nayak, Laxmi Shenoy was the convenor of the program, director of property deals Prashanth Rasquinha, VJ pradeep Badekkila and president was Fr Francis D’Almeida graced the occasion.

Event was conferred by Pragathi AS, besides St Xavier’s college of Goa, won the overall championship.

Lobo interacted with the students of department of mass communication about the importance of communication, he said that compelling skills in communication can represent a person as an effective leader.
