Karkala: Neha Shetty and Raksha Shenoy have bagged top ranks in science and commerce stream by scoring 595 and 593 marks respectively. Both of them secured second ranks in their respective steams.

Neha who bagged the second rank in science, thanked her parents for their support. She said that the guidance from the founder Sudhakar Shetty and all teachers of Jnana Sudha Institution played a vital role in her success.

Neha has scored full marks in all subjects except in English and Hindi where she scored 97 and 98 respectively. Parents Dayanand Shetty and Savitha D Shetty ran out of words as they were extremely happy with the outcome.

Raksha Shenoy, who secured the second rank in commerce, is the only daughter of Krishna Shenoy and Manjula Shenoy. She wants to become a chartered accountant. Raksha too thanked the founder Sudhakar Shetty who inspired her to do well throughout her college period.

Parents recalled the moments when their only daughter used to skip food and sleep in order to achieve her goal. They were elated as their daughter’s efforts have paid rich dividends and thanked God for his blessings.
