Mangaluru: Two students of Canara College who had gone along with other two friends to see the Way Bridge at Kallapu,Thokkottu are feared drowned in the Nethravathi River on Saturday.

According to the information available with newskarnataka.com, the missing have been identified as Chirag and Aditya. Pratik and Karthik reportedly cried for help.

All are said to be 17-years old, residents of Morgansgate – Jeppu. They were studying in the 2nd PUC and were out on holiday on the occasion of Ugadi, even as thier board exams are going-on.

Ullal police arrived on the spot and immediately swung into  action and are trying to trace their bodies.
