Mangaluru: Police in the city raided a massage parlour near Nandigudda after receiving definite information about immoral activities taking place at the said Parlour.
In the raid, two men identified as Girish (40), a resident of Padubidri, and Gunapal (35), a resident of Attavar, were arrested, while six women at the parlour were rescued. The owner of the building, where the parlour is housed, is on the run. It is gathered that the women were from Maharastra and Bangladesh.
The arrested accused are alleged to be part of a human trafficking ring. The two were produced before the court were remanded to judicial custody.
This raid was conducted in tandem with personnel from the Pandeshwar Police Station and Women Police Station.
