Mangaluru: In a recent development, the Belthangady police apprehended two individuals for the possession of over two kilograms of ganja.
The arrested parties have been identified as Ummar Farooq, residing in Gerukatte, and Sathish, also known as Scorpio Sathish, from Somanthadka in Belthangady.
The police operation led to the discovery of ganja with an estimated value of Rs 51,000, along with the seizure of a two-wheeler. Both accused are now facing charges under Sections 8(c) and 20(b) of the NDPS Act.
