Mangalore: Tulu  tele film ‘Porlu’ by  TV anchor Roopesh Shetty who has already  won hearts through his Tulu rock songs, was screened at Town Hall in the city on March 15, Saturday. Dr Shivasharan Shetty, Chief of Namma TV Channel inaugurated the programme.

Speaking on the occasion, he said he  was happy to note that several films are being brought out in Tulu language in the recent times. He said more  Tulu films of quality can be produced if  people  extend their patronage to the artistes and makers of Tulu films, he added. He was also all praise for the efforts of Roopesh in bringing out the telefilm  and wished him success in his future endeavours.

Mementoes were presented to all those who co-operated in the making of ‘Porlu.’ Devadas Pandeshwar, producer,  Supreeth Karkera,  actress Yajna Shetty, actor Rakshith Shetty, District Youth Congress President Mithun Rai, Dinaker Shetty, Manoj Kumar Shetty and  cast  of the movie were present.

The film was much appreciated by the audience. The MC was done by Naveen Shetty Yedmar.
