Mangaluru: After a brief disruption in the train services on Tuesday, owing to a landslide on the Sakleshpur-Subrahmanya route services have now been restored normally.

Owing to the landslide, boulders and other debris had slipped onto the railway track thereby leading to a cancellation of a Bengaluru-bound train.

Personnel patrolling the area notified the station master at Yedakumeri whereafter the Karwar-Yesvantpur tri-weekly train was brought back to Puttur. Onward journey for the passengers was facilitated by making arrangements through KSRTC buses.
