Mangaluru: In a ghastly accident, a newlywed man lost his life when a speeding train ran over him while he was trying to cross the railway track.

Prashnath Mulya (35) of Kolya Sarawath Colony is the deceased. He was trying to cross the railway track near Kolya Joyland School on his way back to Thokottu this afternoon.

Prashath Mulya was a permanent employee at the Someshwar public library and also a pigmy collector. Being the only son to his parents Prashanth was handicapped since birth and had married to a girl from Madoor two months ago.

The railway police have registered a case.
