Mangalore: The District Tourism Development Committee organized a meeting chaired under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, AB Ibrahim at his office on Tuesday February 4.

Various issues with reference to the tourism in the district were discussed during the meeting. Deputy Commissioner, AB Ibrahim questioned the committee members on the prolonging programmess and directed to complete it as soon as possible.

It was also informed during the meeting that the government has sanctioned Rs 10 lakhs  for the development works towards tourism in the district and plans have been made to utilize the funds in the most efficient way.

Additional DC Dayanand, Mangalore South MLA JR Lobo,Veerandra Babu and others were present for the meeting.
