Padil, Bojaraj Vamanjoor and Aravind Bolar. Kapikad described the movie as ‘comedy with a moral touch at the climax’. The film completed its shooting in 26 days using two cameras. It is produced under the banner of ‘Jayakirana films’.

‘Madime’
Vijaykumar Kodialbail, who scripted a record of sorts in Tulu cinema with his maiden ‘Oriyardori Asal’ has another gem for the audience. ‘Madime’ is expected to release on October 31 or in the first week of November, according to Kodialbail. He said the movie is ten times better than ‘Oriyarodori Asal’. “We have corrected our drawbacks and stressed on perfection. There is no fight in the movie”, he added.
This is a big budget film directed by Sujatha Balakrishna Shetty and produced by Megina Malady Balakrishna Shetty. The movie’s high point is the story, screen play, literature, dialogue, and direction, all of which have been handled by Vijayakumar Kodialbail.
The movie consists of five songs. Two of these songs have been sung by well-known singers, Sonu Nigam and Chitra. This movie has been made by retaining some of the good moments of Kodialbail’s hit play, ‘Madime’, and including some supportive and other necessary details to make it more interesting and captivating. ? The Hit pair of ‘Asal’, Likhit Shetty and Ramya Barne, have donned the roles of the leading pair in this movie. Navya has acted opposite Umesh Mijar. Kodialbail’s previous movie had run for over 175 days.

‘Soombe’
‘Soombe’, which will be the 54th Tulu movie is produced by Yajnadya Productions. The film is directed by noted comedy Tulu theatre actor Saikrishna Kudla. Saikrishna Kudla said ?we have completed shooting and post-production stage. But, we will ?release? ?only after ‘Chali Polilu’ and ‘Madime’. If all the three were released at a time it might affect the producers. Hence the producers would have to release them after much thought.
?In the movie, ?Indian television actor Shritama Mukherjee is the female lead of the movie, while Rahul is the male lead. Noted Kannada actor Vijanath Biradar is also part of the cast. Biradar won the best actor award in India Imagine Film Festival in Madrid, Spain, in 2001 for his role in Kannada cinema ‘Kanasemba Kudreyaneri’ directed by Girish Kasaravalli.
