Mangalore: In another case of alleged moral policing, the Kadri police detained five persons for attacking a youth, who was in the company of a girl from another community. The incident took place at Nanthur on Monday evening, October 27.

It’s learnt that miscreants allegedly belonging to the pro-Hindu organisation attacked the youth. The youth who was attacked is identified as Zabiullah, a resident of Katipalla.
According to the sources in the police, Zabiullah, owns a shop in the City Centre mall. He was attacked by five for being in the company of a 20 year old girl from a another community. It’s leant that the girl hails from Madikeri.
Kadri police quickly arrived at the spot and took the five men into custody. The identities of the miscreants were not revealed.
