Three more COVID-19 patients discharged from hospital today

Mangaluru: Three persons who were being treated for COVID-19 were discharged from Wenlock Hospital after making a full recovery on Friday, April 17.

With these three persons, all of the first 12 patients who tested positive for COVID-19 in the district have been released from the hospital after recovery. One person, a 39-year-old person from Uppinangady who tested positive for COVID-19 today, remains in the hospital.

Among three released today, two had attended the Tablighi Jamaat meet in New Delhi. They returned to Mangaluru on March 22 and tested positive for COVID-19 on April 4.

The other is a woman who returned from Dubai on March 21. Her throat swabs tested positive for COVID-19 on April 4. She was released today after recovering fully from the disease.
