Mangaluru: Three persons sustained serious injuries after a group of people barged into an illegal slaughter house at Pajir in Konaje and assaulted the persons engaged in slaughtering at the premises.

The injured identified as Salam(36), Mansoor (26) and Irshad have been admitted to a private hospital in Mangaluru for treatment.

It is gathered that the house belonging to a person named Joachim was being used for illegal slaughter . The mob which barged into the premises attacked  ten people engaged in slaughtering at the illegal abbatoir, severely injuring three in the process. It is alleged that the mob fled away with Rs 50000 cash looted from the premise.

Two separate cases has been registered into the incident.
