Ullal: Three people have been admitted to private hospitals at Thokottu after clashes between two groups over financial matters took ugly turn.

The injured have been identified as Husssain Palliabba (42)and Mohammed Tauseef (28) from one group and Abdul Aziz (43 ) from the opposite group.

The clashes took place because Aziz had borrowed Rs 40000 from Hussain and had not returned the same even after five years. When Husasin asked Aziz to return the amount on Saturday night, Aziz abused and assaulted Husain and Tauseef using a lock.

In his complaint Aziz has said, when he was travelling on the bike a group of four people including Hussain and Tauseef assaulted Aziz with a wooden club because Aziz identified himself with the opposite group in Ullal Dargah issue.

Police are assessing the facts based on both complaints.
