Puttur: Three people died of electric shock while working in a farmland here on May 2, Monday, near Shanthinagar in Bellippady.

Babu Gowda(55), a rikshaw driver, Sesappa Gowda(41) a tipper driver and Karthik Gowda(20), a diploma student of KVG Sullia are the deceased.

The incident took place when they were working in a farm owned by Babu Gowda. Babu Gowda and Sesappa Gowda are brothers and Karthik is son of Babu’s another brother Bommanna Gowda.
