Udupi : In a shocking incident reported from Karje village of Udupi district, a 17 year old  boy has allegedly committed suicide by  shooting himself with a country gun on November 7, Thursday morning.

The deceased is Shreyas Shetty. Sources said he had left home with the gun  saying he would chase away the monkeys in the garden. The exact cause of his suicide is not known. Local police have visited the place and are investigating.
