Mangalore : The Karnataka Chethana  title has been conferred on  talented twin sisters  Ananya S Rao and Apoorva S Rao who are  well-known as Mangalore Sisters. The Title was conferred  by the Jnana Mandaara Cultural and Educational Trust at a ceremony held at  Kannada Bhavana Nayana Rangamandir at Bangalore recently.

The two talented twins are presently doing their Vidwat in Bharatanatyam under  Guru Vidushi Vidyashree Radhakrishna of Gaana Nritya Academy, Mangalore. They have already  won hearts through their performance  in Chandana channel of Door Darshan, IMA, Udupi and Naada Neerajanam at Tirupathi. The Kararu Natyaanjali festival organizers have also invited the twin sisters for a Bharatantyam duet performance in December.
