Swine Flu claims 2 lives in Udupi district

Udupi : Swine Flu (H1N1) has claimed two lives in Udupi district in the past 15 day period.

Udupi District Health department has informed that a woman from Kundapur died of Swine Flu 15 days ago, while a nine year old girl died on February 27  at  a private hospital in Manipal. The release also said two  others who contracted H1N1  in Udupi and Kundapur have recovered.

Swine Flu can be deadly if not treated  on time.  Some of the symptoms are  high fever, cough, throat pain, breathlessness, blood in sputum and chest  pain.
