Belthangady:A surveyor in Belthangady who demanded bribe to prepare the sketch of a land  has been trapped by the Lokayukta on October 9, Thursday.

Purushottam Gowda of Shishila  had submitted an application for preparation of the sketch of his five cents land and also for conversion purposes. It is learnt, the surveyor had initially demanded Rs 25000 and later settled for Rs 2000.

Reports say the surveyor namely  Eeregowda was arrested on the basis of the complaint by document writer Kutticha Mugera. The raid was led by Lokayukta DySP Umesh Shet.
