Mangaluru: Senior journalist Sukesh Kumar selected for the prestigious Madhyama Academy Award for the year 2018.

Sukesh Kumar is one among the 51 journalists chosen from across Karnataka for this Madhyama Academy Award. This award is a prestigious annual recognition which comprises a cash prize of Rs 25,000 along with citation and memento.

Sukesh Kumar, has been working in the media field from the past two decades and presently serving as the Mangaluru correspondent of Kasturi News. He has worked for popular media banners like Karavali Ale, Janavahini, ETV , TV 9 and Suvarna News.

The award will be presented in the month of January 2019 by Chief Minister H D Kumaraswamy in Bengaluru.
