Moodbidri: A youth committed suicide by hanging himself here on Monday at his residence.

Rajesh(27) a resident of Kabargudde in Kallabettu village was identified as the deceased.

It is learnt that he was working in an restaurant in Mumbai. He had returned to his native place for treatment as he was suffering from dengue. He was admitted in a nearby private hospital and was discharged a few days back.

He was unmarried and might have taken this extreme due to stress.

Moodbidri police have registered a case in this regard.
