Mangalore :  The seer of Kodi Mutt Sri Shivananda Rajendra Swamiji known for his exact predictions, has predicted that there would be  re-election in the state due to a political instability that will crop up after the upcoming Assembly elections.

Speaking to reporters during a private visit to Suratkal on April 17, Wednesday, the seer predicted that no political party will be able to get an absolute majority after the next elections.  Political instability due to lack of understanding between parties, would lead to a re-election, the seer said.

Stating that the interest of the people in exercising franchise was declining, the swamiji said it was mainly due to the   misuse of power by those at the helm of affairs.

When some press men urged the seer to reveal the political future of former chief minister BS Yeddyurappa, the seer said he did not predict the future of any   individual. At the same time he pointed out that he had earlier predicted that the BJP would be split into three.

The Kodi seer also predicted that deaths due to bombings, natural calamities and accidents would be on the increase during the next one year.
