Mangalore : A state level Snooker tournament organised by Rotary Club Mangalore Central in memory of Dr Mohandas Bhandary commenced at Eden Club, Nantur on March 27, Thursday.  Sadananda Shetty, Chairman of Shree Devi Group of Educational Institutions inaugurated the tournament.

In his address, Shetty  praised the various activities of Rotary Club   and said  sports events help in developing a healthy competitive spirit among participants. He also wished success to the tournament.

Dr Nitish Bhandary, son of late Dr Mohandas Bhandary, Dr Devadas Rai, Rajgopal Rai, President of Rotary Club  and others were present.

Around 16 teams are participating in the tournament which will conclude on March 28, Friday.
