Mangalore : A farewell programme was organized for the retiring members of St Agnes College on Thursday April 3. The hard work, sincerity and dedication of the retired professors were appreciated on the occasion by the students and faculty of the institution.

Professor Arun Pai, Professor Ronald Mascarenhas and Lawrence Noronha were felicitated on the occasion. The students along with the other teachers thanked the Professors for their dedicated services to the institution over the years.

The function began with a traditional opening followed by a prayer song. The welcome speech was delivered by Dr Devi Prabha Alva, the Dean for Commerce and Management.

The Farewell Address was given by Sr Lydia Fernandes AC,  Joint Secretary of St Agnes College. In her address she cherished the memories of the professors and wished them good luck for the future.

The farewell song was presented by Helen and group.

Dr Sr Prem D’Souza, Principal  gave her presidential address after which the vote of thanks was delivered by Dr Ita Gonsalves, the Dean of the Science department.
