SSF takes out jatha as part of Azadi Saptah

Moodbidri : A jatha was taken out on the main streets of Moodbidri on Saturday August 9 as part of the Azadi Saptah organised by the Sunni Students Federation  from August 9 1o 15 as part of its silver jubilee celebrations. The jatha which commenced from the Shalimar Auditorium concluded  at the Swarna Mandir where a convention was organised.

The jatha was inaugurated by KA Abdul Rahman Razwi, while the convention was declared open by Fisheries Minister K Abhayachandra Jain.

In his address, the minister said  the nation can progress and prosper when people live in peace, brotherhood and harmony. He said there should be a revolution in the educational field.

SSF National Vice President Abdul Rasheed Zaini Kamil in his message said the society must launch a united fight sinking all differences in order to end evils like corruption, communalism and rising cases of atrocities on women.

MPM Ahsraf Sahadi presided over the function. K Amarnath Shetty, former minister, KP Jagadish Adhikari, District BJP Vice President, Abusufyan Madani, Secretary of KNJC, Krishnaraj Hegde, entrepreneurs Ibrahim Pattadi, Mohammad Aneef and others were present.
