Srinivas Colleges youth fest – Yuva Parivartan – The Change concludes

Mangaluru: The valedictory function of the two-day National Level youth festival of Srinivas Group of Colleges “Yuva Parivartan – The Change” was held on January 4. Vinaya Kumar Sorake – Minister for Urban Development, was the chief guest on the occasion.

In his address to the youth, Sorake highlighted the importance of youth in the development of our country. He stressed that youth should focus more on what they can deliver to the society rather than what they can achieve from it.

The younger generation is the wealth of the country and activities like ‘Yuva Parivartan – The Change’ will develop and motivate the youth, he added.

Nalin Kumar Kateel, Member of Parliament, graced the occasion and highlighted the India’s Culture and Traditions.

He expressed that youth should work towards the fulfillment of the ‘Make in India’ and ‘Made in India’, such should be the goals of the nation, he stressed.  Events like ‘Yuva Parivartan – The Change’ will help in fulfillment of these goals of the youth.

Kota Srinivas Poojari, Member of Legislative Council graced the occasion and advised the youth to be away from the social evils and safeguard the society and the Country. He stressed on the measures taken by the Indian Government to protect the youth from social evils.

Allen Pereira, Ex- Chairman and Managing Director (CMD) of Bank of Maharashtra was present on this occasion and appreciated the efforts of the Srinivas Group of Colleges.

Lakshmi – President of the Adyar Gram Panchayat was also present on the occasion.

A Srinivas Rao, the vice president of the Srinivas Group of Colleges welcomed the gathering. CA A Raghavendra Rao., president of A Shama Rao Foundation and Srinivas Group of Colleges presided over the function. Vijayalakshmi R Rao – Director, Mitra S. Rao – Secretary of the Foundation and others were present on the occasion.

A Swedish Band performed during the valedictory ceremony of  ‘Yuva Parivartan – The Change’.

St Ann’s PU College, Virajpet, won the Overall Championship and MES Chaitanya PU College, Sirsi, Were the runners up at the event.
