Mangalore:Students of Sridevi Institute of Technology at Kenjar have bagged the team championship in the Powerlifting  event  at the   state level event competition  at Acharya Institute of Technology at Bangalore  from October 10 to 12 with the co-operation of Visvesvaraiah Technological University.

Sooraj Kumar Singh of the Sridevi Institute has won the Best Power Lifter Award for the third successive time.
