Sri Rama Sena protests against Shaadi Bhagya, anti-Superstition Bill

Mangalore :  Kumar Malemar, State Vice President of the Sri Rama Sena has said that Chief minister Siddaramaiah who rose to power with the help of the votes of belonging to people of all religions, was now keen on  appeasing only the minorities.

He was addressing the Sri Rama Sena activists who staged a protest  in front  of the DC office here on November 11, Monday opposing the Shaadi Bhagya scheme and the proposed Anti-Superstition Bill.

Kumar Malemar further urged the government to revoke the  decision on Anti-Superstition Bill, which he said has hurt Hindu sentiments. He also warned of a severe protest by the Sri Rama Sena if the government failed to heed to the demand.

The protestors also burnt an effigy of Chief Minister Siddaramaiah to express their anger over the government.
