Mangaluru: On the occasion of International Down Syndrome Day, a special program was organized by Saanidhya Residential School & Training Centre for the Mentally Challenged, bringing together the children with Down syndrome, on Sunday, March 21.

The children were brought to the stage in colourful cultural dresses.

The school administrator, Dr Vasanth Kumar Shetty offered shawl to all the children with down syndrome, lined up on the platform. Special teachers at Saanidhya greeted everyone and many competitions were held for the children.

Volunteers of Saanidhya sponsored all prizes and gifts for all children. Sujith Shetty and friends made a special dining arrangement on this day.
