Sowjanya case:Hindu associations threaten Karnataka bundh

Puttur:The VHP and the Bhajrangdal organised a massive protest in front of the Assistant Commissioners office demanding a CBI probe into the Sowjanya rape and murder case. A  protest march was also organised from Darbe Circle upto the AC office.

Addressing the protestors, Arun Kumar Puttila,  leader of NaMo Bharath  said that the VHP and the Bhajrangdal would  give a call for a Karnataka Bundh if the State Government refuses to heed to the demand for a CBI probe into the case.

Sowjanya’s mother Kusumavathi who also spoke  made a humble appeal to the gathering to support them in their fight for justice to their daughter.

Several including Premalatha, President of Matra Mandali, Krishna Hamsatadka, Bhajrangdal leader and  Krishnaprasad, VHP leader, participated in the protest.
