Mangalore: President of Prajaprabhutva Vedike, Mahesh Shetty Thimarodi has questioned the transparency of CID officials  and  has alleged that they had  leaked the report to the three accused before submitting it to the government.

Addressing a  press meet held at Press Club on November 6, Wednesday,  he said that before the report was submitted to the Government,  the CID officials had  leaked the report to the accused Dheeraj, Mallik and Uday Jain. The three had published  an advertisement in a  newspaper threatening to file a case against the people who were accusing them as the real culprits before the report was submitted to the Government. All this was  the result of a secret pact  between the accused and CID officials, he alleged.

Shetty informed that  the Prajaprabhutva Vedike along with other organizations will stage a massive protest on November  9 at Nehru Maidan to pressurize  the Govt to hand over investigation into the Sowjanya case and all other unnatural death cases in Dharmasthala to CBI.
