Mangalore: In the early hours of Saturday on November 16 at around 4.15 am, a Volkswagen Vento car smashed into Hotel South India located near Beary Academy office at Attavar Katte. The victims were travelling from Attavar railway station to Attavar Katte.
In the accident the car was completely damaged, whereas the six persons who were travelling in the car are said to be badly injured.
Sources say that the accident took place when the driver lost control, as he had applied sudden break so that he would not crash into another car. In the process of avoiding a mishap, he diverted his car towards the right side, when he lost his grip, ramming him into the hotel below.
Mohammed Sadaf (17), Bazid (16), Mohammed Tahsil (21) and Azvad were the four out of the six individuals travelling in the car, all are admitted at Unity Hospital, wherein Tahsil is said to be extremely critical.
A case has been registered at Bunder police station.
