Subrahmanya :Combing operations are presently being carried out by forest officials and the police teams in the forest areas across the borders of DK and Kodagu District. The officials have spotted six member Naxal team at Kadamakallu.

It is said that the six member group consists of two women are involved in Gemstone business which is available in the area. The locals also suspect that the group may also attempt to pull locals into their group.

The Anti-Naxal Force is also on alert  at some strategic locations in border areas where there is a possibility of the Naxal team crossing borders.

Sullia circle inspector Satish and Subrahmanya inspector Nagesh Kadri,Forest department officials Mahantesh, Yuvaraj and Jagadish and thier team is involved in the combing operation.
