Belthangady: Shri Kshethra Dharmasthala is gearing up for its much-anticipated Lakshadeepothsava, an annual celebration of Lord Shri Manjunatha Swamy, scheduled from the 8th to the 12th of December 2023. Simultaneously, the 91st session of the Sarvadharma and Sahithya Sammelana will enrich the cultural tapestry of this auspicious event.
Program Highlights:
08-12-2023 (Friday) – Hosakatte Uthsava The festivities commence with vibrant celebrations.
09-12-2023 (Saturday) – Kerekatte Uthsava The jubilation continues with varied events.
10-12-2023 (Sunday) – Kanchimarukatte Uthsava Cultural programs from 9:00 p.m. onwards, adding to the spectacle.
11-12-2023 (Monday) – Gowrimarukatte Uthsava A day filled with cultural richness awaits.
12-12-2023 (Tuesday) – Lalithodyana Uthsava The grand celebration continues with more fervor.
13-12-2023 (Wednesday) – Samavasarana Pooja of Lord Shri Chandranatha Swamy A day dedicated to special prayers and devotion.
State-Level Exhibition (08 to 12 December 2023): The Shri Manjunatheshwara High School Ground in Dharmasthala will host a state-level exhibition, inaugurated on 08-12-2023 (Friday) at 10:30 a.m. by Shri Girish Nandan M., Assistant Commissioner, Puttur.
Lalithakala Goshti (Cultural Programs Every Evening): A diverse range of cultural programs will be on display from 9:00 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. throughout the event.
10-12-2023 (Sunday) – ‘Amruthavarshini’ Sabhabhavana at 7:00 p.m. The highlight of the evening will be the Gana Nrutya Vaividya Gurukiran Night featuring Sri Gurukiran, renowned Music Director, alongside Anuradha Bhat, Indu Nagaraj, Santhosh Venki, and other famous playback singers. The night will also feature dance performances from renowned dance troupes.
Sarvadharma Sammelana (11-12-2023, Monday – ‘Amruthavarshini’ Sabhabhavana at 5:00 p.m.):
