Karkala: Shobha Karandlaje, the victorious candidate from Udupi-Chikmagalur Lok Sabha constituency has promised to do her level  best to find solution to various problems confronting the constituency within the next couple of months.

She was addressing a victory rally and thanksgiving programme organised by the BJP at the Bandimutt bus stand at Karkala on Thursday May 22 evening. Shobha said the voters have given a befitting reply to the Congress which has been responsible for various anti-people policies.

She further said  the prime minister elect Narendra Modi would chalk out ways and means to ensure the all round development of the nation by finding solution to its various longstanding problems.

Karkala MLA Sunil Kumar who also spoke, deplored the JD(S) candidate Dhananjaya Kumar and charged  him of resorting to a malicious propaganda that he (Sunil Kumar) had worked against Shobha.

Tingale Vikramarjun Hegde, Udupi District BJP President, Rashmi Shetty, Karkala Taluk Panchayat President, Bola Prabhaker Kamath and several other BJP leaders were present.

The BJP also organised a victory rally and a thanksgiving programme at Kundapur later in the evening.
