Udupi: A headmaster was arrested for allegedly sexually harassing a minor girl in the school on Wednesday February 5, at Trasi.

The accused has been identified as 38-year-old Kirti Kumar Shetty, a resident of Herikudru. He was arrested after a complaint was registered by the student of class 7 for sexually harassing her in the school premises on January 24.

Reportedly it is known that Kirti Shetty was even working as a physical education teacher in the aided school at Trasi.

The complaint was registered in Gangolli police station on February 5. The Gangolli police arrested Shetty and produced him in the District Court.
