Mangalore: The body of a Scrap dealer found in Tannir Bhavi is suspected to be a murder. Wife of this dealer is believed to be one of the suspects, say the police
The body of the deceased Abdul Rashid (48), was found on June 21 in Tannir Bhavi. He hails from Kudroli, Mangalore.
Rashid was a scrap dealer in central market. On June 21st, few unknown people had taken Rashid away from his place, said the police.
Panambur Police has taken charge of the case and suspect his wife is involved in the murder.
The police personnel, led by sub-inspector, Bharati, visited the house of Rashid at Moidin Nagar, Kudroli late night on Tuesday and questioned the family members.
The police suspicious about Rashids wife, Naseema. It is suspected that Naseema had illicit relationship with some youth, and because of this, the realtionship between the couple had bittered.
It is suspected,Naseema has arranged for murdering her husband at home. With the help of some youth because of her grievance against him. Then must have transported and abandoned the body at Tannir Bavi. It is said that the policemen have found blood stains in the bedroom of the house.
Prior to shifting to a new house in Moidin Nagar they used tlive Nadupalli Kudroli.
Post mortem reports show , injuries were found on the head portion of Rashids body. The police had determined that the wound would have been caused after his head banged against a rock in the sea.
As per sources four persons have been arrested in the case, but police have not confirmed the arrest nor revealed details yet.
