Udupi, Mar 25: Kaup police who acted on a tip off have seized unaccounted cash worth rs 20 lakhs which was found concealed in a lorry heading towards Mangalore from Udupi on Tuesday, March 25.

The police who checked the lorry found the cash hidden beneath the driver’s seat. The suspicion is that it was being taken for use during the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.

The operation was led by Kaup Inspector Sunil Nayak.
