Mangaluru: In a tragic road accident at KPT Circle on Thursday, January 30, a woman lost her life when her scooter was hit by a speeding ambulance.

The deceased is identified as Sujatha, a resident of Gurupur.

According to reports, Sujatha, who was riding the scooter, was hit by an ambulance from behind at the KPT Circle. Sources said that the ambulance was carrying the mortal remains of a person from a nearby private hospital and was on its way to Kerala.
