Mulky :A bike rider was injured due to bike skid near Saag Petrol pump in Haleyangady on August 11.

The injured is identified as Jagadish Acharya(52) a resident of Padupanambur. The incident took place when he was returning home. He was treated in the Shrinivas hospital.

Locals point out that the jelly stones dropped carelessly on the road by the tippers are leading to mishaps and have urged the police to take action against the careless lorries.
