Revival of Brahmavar Sugar Factory : Govt sanctions 12 cr

Udupi: In regards to the Brahmavar Sugar Factory, Pramod Madhwaraj MLA of Udupi organized a press meet on Wednesday November 20.

Addressing the media personals he said, “The state government has approved the sanction of Rs 12 crore loans for the revival of the Brahmavar Sugar Factory, thereby fulfilling a long pending issue.”

“The amount would be distributed, openly among the farmers and the workers, the officials had pleaded the chief minister to sanction Rs 15 crore even though it’s a good news that at least 12 crore is been approved”, he added.

Union Minister Oscar Fernandes, State Urban Development Minister Vinaykumar Sorake, KPCC President G Parameshwar, Udupi MP Jayaprakash Hegde, and Gopal Poojari were present for the press meet.
