Mangalore : A protest will be held in front of the house of District incharge minister B Ramanatha Rai on June 23 opposing the arrest of three youths in connection with the murder of Bajrang Dal activist Rajesh Poojary.

Rajesh Poojary an auto driver by profession from Bantwal was murdered on March 21. The police had arrested Irshad (21), Imraan (20) and Hussain (20) in connection to the murder.

DYFI has ordered for CID probe as they believe that police have arrested innocents. The organisation president Muneer Katipalla told reporters that a protest will be carried out at 10 a.m from Kalpane to the house of Ramanath Rai.

The organisation also has warned if their demands are not fulfilled, they would protest in Bangalore.
