Puttur: Abdul Asir (21), aide of notorious gangster Kalia Rafique from Kerala, who has been nabbed in connection to shoot-out at Rajdhani Jewellers at CPC Plaza in Puttur has been remanded to judicial custody till Monday.

However, during the probe, he is said to have revealed that the shoot-out deal had happened inside the jail, when he was serving jail in a particular murder case.

This is when he got acquainted to Kalia Rafique and cracked the Rajdhani Shoot out deal.

Asir will be produced before Puttur Court on April 4 again and on the same day, the police will plead before the court to hand over the accused to police custody for investigation.
