Kasargod: Railway police have arrested three persons and have seized huge quantity of banned pan masala products on Tuesday.

Mohan Das(62) from Aluva, Sabeer Hussain(33) from West Bengal, Azad Saider(33) from Bihar are the arrested.

They were arrested near Kasargod railway station.

The officials have seized 910 packets of pan masala and other products.

It is learnt that they were transporting pan masala in a inter-city train from Mangaluru to Coimbatore.

Based on a credible information, officials carried out the operation. The arrested are taken into custody for questioning.
