Mangalore : The NSS activities of School of Social Work Roshni Nilaya were inaugurated by DK District in-charge Minister and State Minister for Forest, Ecology and Environment Ramanatha Rai on July 8, Monday.
Speaking on the occasion, Rai recollected his association with NSS during his college days and said NSS had made him disciplined and also helped him imbibe noble virtues.
JR Lobo, MLA of Mangalore South constituency,who also spoke,highlighted the role of educational institutions in shaping the personality as well as future of the student community.
Dr Sophia N Fernandes,Principal of Roshni Nilaya, Vinitha K, NSS Co-ordinator, Dr BA Kumar Hegde, NSS Officer of SDM College and others were present at the function.
