Mangalore: The Rachana – Catholic Chamber of Commerce and Industry held a demonstration in front of the Air India Express office at Lalbagh on Friday February 14, after the Air India Express decided to suspend the Mangalore-Kuwait direct flights.

Addressing the protestors,President of Rachana, Ivan D’Souza urged Air India Express to revoke its decision. He  warned that Rachana will pursue the matter further if Air India Express fails to yield to the demand to resume  Mangalore-Kuwait flights.

Louis Lobo, President of Konkan Overseas Returnees Welfare Association, Elias Sanctis, Vice President of the Association, John Monteiro, General Secretary of Rachana and others participated in the protest.

The protestors also submitted a memorandum to Air India Express Manager Nagesh Shetty.
