Punah Pratishta Mahotsav of Moodbidr’s famous Hanumantha Temple from Apr 20

Moodbidri: The Ashta Bandha Punah Pratishta Mahotsava will be held at Shree Hanumantha Temple here on April 23. The temple is famous for its Seeyalabhisheka.

Informing this to reporters, G Umesh Pai, Managing Trustee of the temple said the Punah Pratishta of the marble idol of Lord Hanuman will be held and that the celebrations will be held from April 20 to 24. Srimad Samyameendra Theertha Swamiji, the Junior Pontiff of Shree Kashi Mutt Samsthan will guide the rituals.

Pai said the sanctum sanctorum of the temple has been completely renovated after 81 years.
