Kumta : A KSRTC bus conductor who was facing charges of sexually harassing a minor girl, has reportedly committed  suicide on Saturday April 19.

A case of sexual harassment was registered against the conductor named  Kamalakar on April 17 after the victim  had  tried to end her life by dousing herself with kerosene oil and setting herself ablaze. The girl is presently undergoing treatment at the local government hospital.

She had given a statement against Kamalakar with the police and an FIR was lodged in this connection.

On Saturday, Kamalakar reportedly ended his life by hanging himself at a relative’s house at Yellapur.
