Karkala : Dennis D’Souza (40), a progressive farmer  and a resident of Bola Kodi who was seriously injured in a hit and run case  reported from  Peroor in Mundkur  village on June 2, has succumbed to his injuries on Wednesday June 4.

The accident occurred when the bike he was riding was hit by an unidentified vehicle  while he was returning after inviting relatives for the first death anniversary of his father. Dennis who was seriously injured was admitted to AJ Hospital in Mangalore, where he breathed his last on Wednesday.

Dennis who was a progressive farmer was also into dairy farming and toddy tapping. He was also an active member of Toddy Tappers Society. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
